Fleet diesel cost calculator
This multiplies the numbers you enter. It does not estimate theft, savings, or what JC Fleet will recover.
How the diesel cost calculation works
Monthly diesel litres = number of vehicles × kilometres per vehicle ÷ mileage in km/L. Monthly spend = litres × diesel price. Diesel cost per kilometre = price per litre ÷ mileage.
For example, 25 vehicles travelling 6,000 km each at 3.5 km/L need about 42,857 litres. At ₹90/L, the estimated diesel spend is ₹38,57,143 for the month, or ₹25.71 per kilometre. These are example inputs, not a forecast for your fleet.
Use a measured mileage for the route and load you are planning. If vehicle types or operating conditions differ, calculate each group separately. The result covers diesel only; driver pay, tolls, maintenance and other operating costs are additional.
